Adaptor Kit to Fit Range Rover Sport & late L322 Wheels (06 on)
onto Range Rover P38
This kit comprises of 20 x wheel nuts and 4 x hub adaptor rings ( also called spigot rings ) to enable you to fit late L322 and Range Rover Sport wheels to the Range Rover P38
If you want to fit 2002 -2005 Range Rover wheels to your Disco 2 see our other items as this kit won't be suitable.
The following vehicles all have the same PCD and number of studs so wheels can be swapped between these vehicles as long as you have the correct fitting kit.

In addition to the same stud pattern these vehicles all have the same wheel stud thread. So what is to stop you just buying a set of these wheels and bolting them on yourP38 ? Well 2 things mainly....
1) The wheel nuts are all different ( the size and shape of the recess in the wheel where the nuts "sit" much match the shape of the wheel nut itself ). This kit includes 20 x wheels nuts that fit the standard Range Rover sport wheels. These wheels have an angled base to the wheel nut recess ( tapered ). If you have the six spoke wheel as shown in the picture there are 2 types ones with shallow dimples and one with holes - see pictures. These nuts fit the wheels dimples. The thread on these nuts is 14x1.50. These nuts are made from high strength steel and have a bright stainless steel cap like the original factory items.
2) Central hub diameters are different. All wheels are supposed to located securely on the central hub for maximum safety - this ensure the wheels are central and stops the wheel nuts taking too much of the load. The hub diameter on the L322 and sport is larger than the P38 so you need to fit these inserts into the central hole on your L322/sport wheels before fitting them to a P38. The inner diameter of these rings is 70.1mm and the outer diameter is 72.6mm. These rings are made from aircraft grade aluminium and have a anodised finish to prevent corrosion.

remember you will need to get a new wheel brace as the head on these nuts need a 22mm socket.
Fitting Details
Place the new wheels face down on some card and insert the spigot rings to the inside of the new wheel. It is advisable to use an adhesive like "Loctitie stud and bearing fix" or similar to prevent the spigot rings from coming out when you change your wheels. Insert the spigot ring so it is flush with the rear surface of the wheel.
Apply some copper grease to the wheel threads and also the inner surface of the spigot ring to make wheel changes easier in future.
Fit the new wheels to the car with the new wheel nuts - checking that the wheel nuts are matched to the wheels ( these nuts have a tapered bottom and so the wheel nut recess must be tapered at the bottom.
Which Vehicles will this fit ?
This item WILL fit allow you to fit wheels from a Range Rover Sport /L322 06on onto a Range Rover P38.
This item WILL NOT allow you to fit L322 02 -05 on wheels to your P38 Range Rover ( these have a flat base to the wheel nut recess not tapered )
