Range Rover L322 2010 LED Rear light Conversion on 05 -09 cars

This listing is for 2 x printed circuit boards that fix the "blinking" fog lights on the 2010 LED rear lights when fitted to the early model L322.

This kit is for cars from 2005 to 2009 ( facelift models ) - see our other kit for the models from 2002 -2005 ( one of the component values is different due to the different PWM signal )

The problem is that the ECU sends a check pulse to the rear fog light to check the bulb circuit and this is fine on the old model lights with the filament type bulbs but when you fit the LED bulbs the tiny pulse is enough to light up the LED's and make your Range Rover look like a mobile disco. This happens when you turn the rear lights on.

We have tried various ways to fix this but this package is the most cost effective way we have found.

This problem is on both rear lights so this kit is a PAIR of circuit boards one for the LEFT and one for the RIGHT ( both are the same )

This board has been designed with screw terminals to make the wiring easy

The only wire you need to cut is the wire going to pin 3 ( fog light ) the other wires you only need to tap into.

We also supply 2 cut lengths of heat shrink sleaving that you use to enclose the circuit board when the wiring is completed ( and tested ).

We also supply 4 scotch block connectors that "tap" into the earth / tail light wires to simplify wiring ( soldered connections are better if you have the facility to do this )

This circuit is small enough to sit between the rear light and the inner panel or you could extend some wires and fit in inside the car behind the rear trim.

We have now confirmed that this also works and does not cause any error messages on dash display ( although this may not be the case on all cars ).

We also sell the resistors ( to slow the indicator flash speed ) and the mounting lugs for these lights - see our other items ( on many 2005 on cars the resistor on the indicator may not be needed )

Fitting Details

Remove the rear lights

Following the diagram to make the connections

Test the function of all the lights. There should be no buzzing.

When you are happy all functions are working slide the heat shrink sleaving over the circuit board and then apply heat ( heat gun ) to shrink the tube over the circuit.

The circuit will sit between the rear light and the inner panel.
