Landrover Discovery 3/4 (LR3/LR4) 2005 -2010

Replace the old or lower specification plastic gear knob in your Landrover Discovery 3 ( LR3 ) with this genuine gear knob from the new Discovery 4.

The gear change for the Automatic Discovery 4 can be fitted to the Discovery 3 but you will need to strip down the gear knob mechanism to change the center peg as it is longer on the Discovery 4.

This will fit all Discovery 3 models with Automatic gear change.

The new discovery 4 model is much more upmarket than the old Discovery 3 and this is one item that gives you an easy upgrade.

This is NOT an exchange item - we don't require your old gear knob back.

Fitting Instructions

Put the gear selector in Neutral.

Pull the gear knob directly upwards with a firm pull ( be careful that you don't hit yourself in the face as it takes a little force and then releases all of a sudden )

Swap the rod from the Disco 3 knob to the Disco 4 knob ( instructions provided and takes 10 minutes and some mechanical capability )

Fit the new item and push downwards.

This item WILL fit the Landrover Discovery 3 ( in some markets this is called the LR3 ) - all models with a AUTOMATIC gear box.

This item WILL NOT Fit the Manual vehicle.
